We hear people talking about it. I also know that seeing specific examples of it can change things and help remind us we need to work on our own Mind-Set.
Exercise AND Mind-Set affect health – here’s just one recent study that details how the added layer of mind-set made the same set of physical activities help one group more.
The more I’ve been focused on reclaiming my own life, the more I realized how faulty my own Mind-Set had become.
Working on your mind-set may not sound or look as glamorous as a fashion makeover.
Or sound as manly as grunting & lugging big weights around the gym.
But I truly feel it’s the first & primary work that then makes the outward activities count more.
It’s one of the things I really help my clients with even if our (initial) discussions focus on fitness and nutrition. I know Mind-Set ‘health’ is part of the equation – an often hidden and large variable. In many ways, it really is the ‘magic sauce’ that helps your actual activities & habits resonate more for what you truly want to create in your life.
Do you do things regularly to help and improve your Mind-Set as you work to reclaim your life?
If not, why not?!
