I hear from a lot of people that that don’t have time … for grocery shopping, for exercise, for sleep, for a proper breakfast and for everything else on your list.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news BUT for all of those things YOU need to set the priorities for them if you want them to truly be priorities in your life. You might not be able to do that for everything at once but you can still pick one and start this week.

How about breakfast?

It really is the most important meal of the day and also sets the tone in many other important ways.

Here are some specific reminders why making a regular habit around healthy breakfast is important:

  1. It sets the nutritional tone for the rest of your day
  2. It sets the overall personal responsibility control for your day
  3. It models (by example, not preaching) for the rest of your household a habit that everyone benefits from
  4. Reinforces slower, mindful eating habits which have been shown to guard against over-eating and help with overall digestion
